The Role:

Millennium have an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and reliable Cleaner/Waste Operator to become part of our team at a premium hospitality location

This role is ideal for individuals who love working in a fast-paced environment, have great attention to detail, and enjoy creating clean and welcoming spaces for our clients and customers.

Full time position available. Shift schedule as follow:

Tuesday to Saturday - 7:54 AM - 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general cleaning duties to a high standard
  • Push waste wheelie bins
  • Operate waste compactors
  • Work in dock environments
  • Spot cleaning of furnishings
  • Sweeping and mopping
  • Toilet cleaning
  • Rubbish collection, move heavy bins
  • Cleaning of glass, both internal and external
  • Dusting of all hard surfaces

About You:

  • Cleaning experience and experience in operating waste compactors is an advantage.
  • Comfortable moving heavy bins, working in dock environments and working in confined space i.e. goods lifts.
  • Must be fit and strong.
  • The job is quite demanding and challenging and requires patience and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience of working in a team successfully.
  • The ability to follow instructions and work autonomously.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Can demonstrate strong reliability and punctuality while at work.
  • Good understanding of Work Health and Safety standards.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and public holidays when required.
  • Experience with floor care equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, or sweepers is a plus.

You must have valid work rights in Australia.
