From humble beginnings NPS has grown to a national organisation with circa 300 staff. At NPS we provide high-quality services for industry, government, and water authorities with significant growth in emerging areas of digital metering and IoT device management.

About The Role

An opportunity exists for a suitably experienced Plumber to service a range of awarded contracts in Sydney Northern Beaches & surrounding areas. Here at NPS, we pride ourselves on providing a professional trade team with our goal to exceed customer expectations consistently.

This role is initially so service our Sydney Water contract in domestic services, however can expand into commercial long term as we grow this side of the business. It is part of our Water Efficiency team.

The successful candidate will be a team player, someone who has great attention to detail, understands the importance of the work they perform and the role they play within our business. NPS has successfully established regular and satisfied customers and to continue our quality service, we are looking for team players, who possess well developed people skills, with the ability to deal with all customers in a professional manner and deliver high quality work, on time.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


• Domestic Maintenance plumbing – General repairs, diagnose and troubleshoot problems


• Leak detection – Utilise specialist tools & techniques, detect and fix leaks, preventative


• Water efficiency audits – Conduct audits for properties, install water saving devices


• Maintain accurate records including photographs and checks


• Engage with clients and customers and provide clear explanations and solutions

About You

With several key projects under way, we need a reliable and committed plumber to join us. Ideally, you will have;


• 2+ years' experience in maintenance plumbing.


• Experience in government a contract works highly regarded.


• Hold a current driver's licence - mandatory.


• Cert IV Plumbing (must be licensed)


• Construction Induction (white/red) card - mandatory.


• A great attitude with a willingness to learn.


• Pride in your work and an aptitude for problem solving.


• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
