About the role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Plumber to join our team at Hix Group. As a Maintenance Plumber, you will be responsible for providing high-quality plumbing services to our clients across Parramatta and the Western Suburbs of Sydney, NSW. This is a full-time position with competitive remuneration and benefits.

What you'll be doing

  • Conducting a wide range of plumbing maintenance and repair tasks, including unblocking drains, fixing leaks, and installing new fixtures and appliances
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting plumbing issues to identify the root cause and provide effective solutions
  • Providing exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and maintaining positive relationships
  • Adhering to all relevant safety and regulatory standards, as well as company policies and procedures
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all work completed
  • Assisting with the training and mentoring of junior plumbers, where required

What we're looking for

  • Formal trade qualification as a licensed Plumber
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Plumber, preferably in a similar role
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills to identify and resolve a variety of plumbing issues
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work effectively with clients
  • Knowledge of relevant plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards
  • Proficient in the use of plumbing tools and equipment
  • A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
