Your new role

As a Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for providing a high standard of quality and output of services to support the bank in managing its financial crime obligations.

Responsibilities may include the below:

•Preparing and submitting high quality Suspicious Matter Reports to AUSTRAC and checking UMRs and SMRs written

•Draft and/or review cases of transaction monitoring alerts, ensuring red flags are identified and the grounds for suspicion are correctly documented and clearly articulated.

•Provide compliance support on all aspects of the AML/CTF and Financial Crime programme as required

•Maintain an up to date focus on financial crime, trends and emerging issues, and share knowledge obtained.

•Assist the bank in managing its financial crime obligations with respect to the Groups Part A and Part B AML/CTF Programme.

What you'll need to succeed


•2 years of demonstrated experience preparing and submitting Suspicious Matter Reports

•Demonstrable experience in a financial crime, regulatory, or law enforcement operations role.

•Full Australian working rights

•Critical thinking, problem-solving and attention to detail

•Analytical skills with ability to make decisions based on findings
