DWF is seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Paralegal to join our team in Melbourne. As a Paralegal, you will play a vital role in supporting our legal professionals and contributing to the success of our clients' matters in General Insurance. This is a full-time position based in our office in the heart of Melbourne.

All your technology needs will be provided for.

What you'll be doing

  • Conducting legal research and analysis to support our lawyers
  • Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including contracts, letters, and court documents
  • Assisting with the organisation and management of client files and records
  • Providing administrative support to the legal team as required
  • Participating in client meetings and events
  • Developing your legal skills and knowledge through on-the-job training and professional development opportunities

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in law or a related field
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
  • A keen interest in the legal industry and a desire to learn and grow
  • The ability to work well in a team and contribute to a positive work environment
