We operate a clean, modern warehouse focused on high-quality dispatch (no bulk soils). Due to rapid expansion, we are looking for a process-driven leader to grow with us.

The Role

The Warehouse Supervisor / Team Leader is a hands-on supervisory role responsible for driving operational efficiency, ensuring inventory accuracy, process compliance, and the coordination of daily warehouse activities. You'll lead and mentor a small team, support continuous operational improvements, and work closely with procurement and logistics to keep our warehouse running smoothly.

Leadership & Process Optimisation (The Supervisory Focus)

• Organise & Lead: Manage the daily workflow, team priorities, and resource allocation to ensure timely and accurate dispatch targets are met.
• Training & Mentoring: Provide guidance, on-the-job training, and clear direction to warehouse team members to foster a high-performance, 'one team' culture.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement best practices to improve safety, efficiency, and warehouse organisation.
• Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to company WHS protocols, inventory control procedures, and dispatch compliance.
• Data Integrity: Maintain accuracy of all inventory records, focusing on system compliance (e.g., using Cin7).

Core Operational Duties (The Hands-On Focus)

• Safely and efficiently operate forklifts (LF license) to load/unload products and inbound supplies.
• Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders according to customer specifications and quality standards.
• Assist in regular cycle counts, stocktakes, and replenishment activities.
• Maintain a consistently clean, tidy, and safe work environment.
• Coordinate with transport providers for timely deliveries.

Skills & Experience

• Valid forklift license (LF) is essential - with experience in forklift operating.
• Proven experience (2+ years) as a Team Leader, Supervisor, or Senior Operative.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Good physical fitness and ability to lift heavy materials.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and drive accountability within a small team.
• MR/HR license advantageous but not required.
• Cin7 Experience desirable.
