Wormald is seeking an experienced Inventory/Demand Planner for a six-month fixed-term contract to join our Distribution Services team based in Silverwater.

About the Role
Based in Silverwater, a fixed-term maternity leave role has opened up for an experienced Inventory/Demand Planner. This position is a full-time, six-month contract with the possibility of an extension. The role is primarily responsible for item level forecasting and managing inventory of consumable materials. In this role you will ensure accurate forecasting, planning and purchasing of imported products to ensure excellent customer service levels are maintained while being mindful of supply chain costs.
Your primary duties will include, but are not limited to:-
- Analysis of existing stock levels and projected forecasting of inventory requirements
- Ensuring supplier and inventory data is accurately maintained in Pronto
- Daily monitoring and control of inventory
- Data analysis and data interpretation to prepare various stock reports
- Responsible for raising local and overseas purchase orders
- Managing freight movements and charges
- Strong communication working closely with all stakeholders in the supply chain
We require someone who possesses the following qualities:
- A motivated self-starter with the ability to multi-task
- Attention to detail with accurate data entry skills
- Ability to achieve deadlines with excellent time management skills
- Strong focus on delivering customer service excellence
- High level of written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel), Pronto (or other ERP's)
We are keen to fill this role as soon as possible to enable a crossover training period to occur. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual, with the potential of a contract extension.
