Assistant Building Manager

Step into a dynamic support role where you'll provide comprehensive administrative and operational assistance to our dedicated Building Management team overseeing premium residential properties. As our onsite Building Management Assistant, you'll be the essential coordination hub and eyes on the ground, conducting regular site walks, maintaining the highest property standards, and delivering exceptional customer service while supporting the team in achieving outstanding building performance and resident satisfaction.

The Assistant Building Manager will assist our Onsite Building Managers through all facets of Day-to-day Building Management.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will work closely with all key stakeholders of the property, and as such will need to be a strong communicator, and have a natural talent for building and maintaining relationships.

A snapshot of the role:

• Meeting the requirements of the Body Corporate Caretaking Agreements and working within all relevant legislation including the Body Corporate and Community Management Act 1997
• Assist with preparing Building Management Reports
• Assist with ensuring that building procedures are maintained onsite; alongside maintaining up to date site documentation and compliance
• Assist with ensuring all guests, tenant, contractors, owners and Body Corporate relations are attended to in a positive manner and expected services are provided.
• Perform daily site inspections and prepare comprehensive inspection reports
• Performs general administrative duties and support functions
• Assist with ensuring there is open and on-going communication between all stakeholders to the Property (guests/tenants/owners/Body Corporate)
• Assist with ensuring the Business's assets are protected through a high level of compliance, security and control.

We're seeking a proven professional with solid experience in both Building Management and Property management. You'll bring a track record of successfully managing owner, resident and contractor relationships, backed by essential hands-on experience in these core disciplines.

Your communication skills set you apart—you're naturally customer-focused, excel at building rapport, and can translate complex situations into clear, actionable reports. Proficiency in MS Office suite is essential, as you'll be managing everything from detailed compliance documentation to stakeholder communications.

The ideal candidate comes equipped with strong relationship-building instincts and the ability to maintain professional connections across all levels. You'll need to hold a QLD Office of Fair Trading issued Registration Certificate to step into this role.
