As a Liability Underwriter you can make a huge impact for our customers. If you love detail, are a team player and are able to think outside of the box, this role could be for you. 

This is a permanent full-time role and can be based at any of IAG's locations.

What You'll Do

• Take charge of managing a portfolio of broker relationships to ensure excellent outcomes that support renewal retention and initiatives for securing new business.

• You'll provide commercially sound, profitable underwriting solutions in line with your delegated authority level

• Build strong relationships with brokers in your portfolio, working closely with our team to develop and grow a profitable business.

What You'll Bring

• Previous liability experience either as an Underwriter or Broker is essential

• A passion for underwriting liability risks and product innovation

• Excellent relationship-building skills

• Thrive on achieving results and work effectively as part of a team

• A good understanding of sales along with an understanding of the culture associated with broker negotiations
