MODEC Management Services Pte Ltd is a pioneer and world leader in FPSO, FSO and TLP technology. We provide project management, engineering, procurement, construction, installation and operation services to the offshore energy industry. MODEC Management Services is seeking a full-time Chief Engineer to work onboard the Pyrenees Venture FPSO located in Northwest Shelf, Western Australia.

Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in supervising the Marine Engineering department, ensuring the safe and efficient execution of maintenance tasks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage technical operations in a dynamic offshore environment.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supervise the Marine Engineering department, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Perform the role of Chief Engineer, overseeing maintenance tasks and systems.
  • Assist in managing the SAP planned maintenance system and unscheduled repairs.
  • Support the safe and cost-effective maintenance of facility systems and equipment.
  • Manage maintenance activities in line with the asset integrity management system.
  • Serve as a technical focal point for addressing issues from POT-FUs and regulatory authorities.
  • Participate in FPSO emergency response activities, including roles such as Emergency "On Scene Commander."

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum of 5 years of offshore Oil & Gas experience, with FPSO Maintenance Operations expertise.
  • AMSA Engineer Class 1 Motor (STCW Chief Engineer) with Oil Tanker Endorsement.
  • Previous experience as Chief Engineer on an Oil Tanker/FPSO.
  • Certification as an Emergency Response Team Leader.
  • Confined Space Entry & Rescue, Working at Heights, and Intermediate Rigging qualifications.
  • Proficiency in SAP is essential.
  • Experience with VPOB is highly desirable.
