Synergie Australia is seeking a Sample Preparer for a FIFO client located in the Northern Territory.

The important parts:

• 7 on / 7 off (day and night shift) FIFO roster with charter points from Cairns or Darwin (travel from other locations at applicant's expense)
• Competitive hourly rate: $41.35 per hour (flat rate – with room to grow as you develop your skills)
• ASAP start with ongoing employment opportunities for the right candidate

What you will be required to do:

• Lifting sample preparation bags of 10kg – 15kg
• Prepare and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability
• Record and interpret test results, ensuring compliance with quality standards
• Perform routine laboratory testing and analysis on samples according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment
• Adhere to workplace safety, health, and environmental guidelines at all times

To be successful in the role you will:

• Ability to perform manual labour tasks and work in challenging environments
• Knowledge of laboratory equipment, testing methods, and quality control practices
• Previous experience in a laboratory, industrial or sample preparing setting
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols
• Valid open drivers licence
• Have full working rights in Australia
• Demonstrate a positive attitude towards safety and its importance in every role
