Synergie Australia is seeking a Sample Preparer for a FIFO client located in the Northern Territory.
The important parts:
- 7 on / 7 off (day and night shift) FIFO roster with charter points from Cairns or Darwin (travel from other locations at applicant's expense)
- Competitive hourly rate: $41.35 per hour (flat rate – with room to grow as you develop your skills)
- ASAP start with ongoing employment opportunities for the right candidate
What you will be required to do:
- Lifting sample preparation bags of 10kg – 15kg
- Prepare and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Record and interpret test results, ensuring compliance with quality standards
- Perform routine laboratory testing and analysis on samples according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment
- Adhere to workplace safety, health, and environmental guidelines at all times
To be successful in the role you will:
- Ability to perform manual labour tasks and work in challenging environments
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment, testing methods, and quality control practices
- Previous experience in a laboratory, industrial or sample preparing setting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols
- Valid open drivers licence
- Have full working rights in Australia
- Demonstrate a positive attitude towards safety and its importance in every role
