The Company

Our client is an Australian owned Property Development and Investment Group that specialise in delivering world class Industrial & Logistics development projects. Led by a highly regarded Exec team they have an exceptional development pipeline, access to large scale institutional investment, and are entering a period of accelerated growth.

The Role

You'll play a key role in delivering accurate, insightful reporting to senior management and capital partners, driving process improvements, and ensuring robust financial governance. Working closely with asset management and operations teams, you'll help shape strategic decisions through strong financial reporting, analysis and system enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare consolidated monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow) and reporting packs for senior management and capital partners.
  • Review property manager monthly accounts and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop monthly cash flow forecasts and manage funding requirements for the Funds.
  • Oversee statutory financial statements, year-end audits, and tax reporting processes.
  • Manage relationships with external service providers across financial reporting, accounts payable, and taxation.
  • Drive process and systems improvements to strengthen financial controls and reporting efficiency.
  • Partner with asset management and operations teams to provide timely, accurate financial insights that support strategic decisions.

The Successful Candidate

  • CPA/CA qualification (completion or in progress)
  • Experience with Big 4/Mid-Tier CA firm or complex corporate environment advantageous.
  • Experience with statutory accounting and/or audit.
  • Sound understanding of accounting standards and Australian taxation issues.
  • Ability to drive improvements in systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Ability to work efficiently, autonomously and meet strict deadlines.
