Specialising in professional writing and editing qualifications, we prepare students for success in careers that require high-level writing, editing, and communication skills. As we prepare for the 2026 academic term, we are expanding our team of remote trainers and assessors to meet the growing demand for online learning in this field.

Job Summary:

·       Deliver & Assess: Conduct engaging online training and assessments for students in professional writing and editing qualifications.

·       Student Support: Provide ongoing mentorship and constructive feedback to help students succeed in their studies and apply real-world business concepts.

Casual Trainers & Assessors – Professional Writing Qualifications

We are looking for skilled and passionate trainers to deliver and assess the following professional writing qualifications:

  • CUA40125 Certificate IV in Professional Writing and Editing
  • CUA50125 Diploma of Professional Writing and Editing

As a remote trainer, you will help students develop essential writing and editing skills that are crucial for success across various industries. You'll play a key role in guiding students to refine their craft and deliver high-quality written work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver online training sessions and provide assessments for students enrolled in professional writing and editing qualifications.
  • Mentor students through their studies and offer feedback to help them improve their writing and editing skills.
  • Use online platforms to deliver engaging and interactive training.
  • Ensure that all training materials are up to date and reflect current industry trends and standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of student progress, assessments, and training activities.
  • Conduct Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessments when required.
  • Collaborate with the team to enhance and develop new training materials.

Role Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A qualification in Professional Writing, Editing, or a related field.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110, TAE40116) or higher.
  • Industry experience in writing, editing, or content creation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with online learning platforms and Microsoft Office (or equivalent).
  • A self-motivated, organised approach to work.
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
  • Ability to pass a National Police Check.

Highly Desirable:

  • Previous experience in delivering online training and assessments.
  • Advanced qualifications in Writing (Diplomas or higher) or related fields.
  • Experience in Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessments.
