About the role
Following a recent retirement we have a rare opportunity to join our small experienced team. We are seeking a passionate and qualified Diploma Qualified Educator to join our dedicated team at Rainbow Child Care and Early Learning Centre in New Town, Tasmania. This is a part-time role (could be full time if preferred), offering flexibility and a rewarding career in the early childhood education sector. We are preferably looking for someone who has experience working with under 2's.
What you'll be doing
- Providing high-quality care and early learning experiences for children aged 0-5 years
- Developing and implementing engaging educational programs that support children's holistic development
- Maintaining a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children
- Collaborating with families to support children's learning and wellbeing
- Documenting children's progress and development
- Adhering to all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures
What we're looking for
- A Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification
- An educator who puts relationships first
- Demonstrated experience working in a similar role within the childcare or early learning sector
- Strong knowledge of child development and early learning principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality care and education
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Valid Working with Children Check
