At SET Health Diabetes Management Services, we are on the hunt for a passionate qualified Diabetes Educator to join our growing team. We are just about to open a brand new clinic on main street in Mornington. Our clinic provides complete diabetes management by our team of multidisciplinary of health care professionals (Endocrinologist, Functional Medicine specialist/Pharmacist, Psychologist, Exercise Physiologist and more to come).

In return you will deliver to a diverse client base a holistic approach, providing expert guidance and education to individuals living with diabetes, helping them manage their condition with confidence. You'll do this through;
- Delivering comprehensive diabetes education and support tailored to individual client needs,
- Managing therapeutic interventions and facilitating self-management strategies, and
- Working with colleagues to develop and implement effective health strategies.
To succeed in this role, your toolkit comprises of;
- A post graduate qualification in Diabetes Education from a recognised university,
- Credentialed Diabetes Educator status,
- At least 3 years experience post gaining Credentialed status,
- Current AHPRA registration,
- Exceptional communication and organisational skills,
- Strong commitment to community health principles,
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively,
- Ability to engage stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds,
- Nutritional experience and or qualifications (carbohydrate counting),
- Insulin pump experience, CPT.
- Experience with T1, T2 and gestational diabetes,
- Continuous Glucose monitoring systems,
- Insulin titration,
- Diabetes pharmacology knowledge, and
- Valid Victorian Driver's License.
