About the Role:

JB Caravans in Pakenham, VIC, part of the JB Caravans Group, is expanding its team and seeking two experienced Caravan Service Technicians and a proactive. The Service Technicians will focus on performing service checks, fitting accessories, and handling warranty and insurance repairs on both new and used caravans.

Service Technician Role:

Our ideal candidates for the Service Technician roles have extensive experience with caravans or RVs, encompassing mechanical skills, brake servicing, 12v electrical systems, and damage repair. A forklift license would be an advantage.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

For Service Technicians:

  • Perform routine maintenance and service checks on caravans
  • Conduct warranty and insurance repairs
  • Fit accessories according to customer requirements

Skills, Experience, and Attributes:

  • Relevant trade qualifications or prior experience in a similar role (essential for both positions)
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated; able to work independently (Service Technicians)
  • Proven leadership skills with the flexibility to work hands-on in the workshop (Service Manager)
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems, brake and 12v electrical repair, and damage repair (preferred for both roles)
  • Forklift license (a bonus)
