STEPS Group Australia is a leading not-for-profit organisation dedicated to changing lives through education, training, and community programs. Our Cairns campus is growing, and we're looking for a dynamic Business Manager to take the lead in building a vibrant team culture, driving student engagement, and unlocking new growth opportunities.

What You'll Do

  • Lead day-to-day operations across the Cairns campus
  • Build a positive, high-performing team culture
  • Engage with students to boost participation and retention
  • Drive business development and community partnerships
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities for new programs
  • Ensure compliance and operational excellence

The Details

  • Full-time role based onsite in Cairns
  • Flexible start/finish times (8am-4pm or 9am-5pm)
  • Lead a team of 15 trainers and admin staff
  • Mix of operational management and business development
