Location: Redbank Plains

St Ann's Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) provides quality care for up to 104 children and is conveniently located in Redbank Plains. We value each child's individuality, learning style, and voice, creating meaningful and engaging experiences tailored to their interests and needs.

Our flexible, child-led program highlights children's cultures, passions, and ideas, and is incorporated into our daily activities. We also provide school drop-off and pick-up from St Ann's Primary School each day.

We're on the lookout for enthusiastic and reliable Casual Educators to join our team for Afternoon shifts and Vacation Care. If you're passionate about creating fun, supportive, and inclusive environments where children can thrive, we'd love to hear from you

What a day looks like for our Educators:

  • Providing nurturing care for children
  • Ensuring a safe, secure and welcoming environment
  • Create fun recreational and educational experiences that are inclusive for all
  • Maintain positive working relationships with all team members
  • Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.

Job Requirements:

  • Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services (or working towards) would be desirable
  • Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate
  • A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place or Early Years Learning framework and National Law/Regulations or ability to acquire
  • Effective oral and written communication within the workplace
  • Willingness to take Child Protection Training as required
