About the role
As a Clinical Skills Laboratory Assistant at TAFE SA, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Health and Community Business Unit. You will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining clinical skills lab resources, ensuring all equipment and consumables are available and functional for student training sessions. Your role will include assisting with workshop preparation, stock management, and compliance with Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) standards. Additionally, you will provide specialist support to lecturers and students, helping facilitate hands-on learning experiences in a well-organised and safe environment. This position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to support high-quality training delivery.

Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).

- Some intrastate/interstate and travel to other campuses may be required
- Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Development Program
- Eligibility to work in Australia
