Group Risk Manager,
reporting directly into the Group CFO and play a key role in shaping how we manage risk across our global business. You'll lead the development and continuous improvement of our risk and compliance frameworks, strengthening governance and ensuring we meet regulatory and internal standards.

Working closely with senior leaders, you'll help identify, assess, and manage key risks — enabling confident, strategic decision-making and supporting the Webjet Group's long-term success.

About the key responsibilities

Risk Management:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Group's Risk Management and Compliance Frameworks, ensuring alignment with ASX Corporate Governance Principles and global best practices.
  • Partner with the Executive Leadership Team and business units to identify, assess, and mitigate key and emerging risks across all operations.
  • Embed a strong risk and compliance culture by driving consistency, accountability, and integration of risk management into decision-making and core business processes.
  • Oversee the Group Risk Register, scenario planning, and business continuity initiatives to ensure proactive management of risks and resilience to change.

Internal Controls & Assurance:

  • Support and lead the design and improvement of internal controls across key risk areas such as financial reporting, cyber security, data privacy, and third-party risk.
  • Collaborate with business leaders on risk-based audit plans, lead control testing, and ensure effective implementation of management actions.

Risk Reporting & Monitoring:

  • Provide clear, insightful risk and compliance reporting to the Executive Team and Board Audit & Risk Committee, highlighting key themes, emerging risks, and required actions.
  • Develop and maintain key risk indicators (KRIs) to deliver a forward-looking view of risk exposure and trends across the Group.
  • Refine and manage the Group's risk appetite framework, including limits, tolerances, and performance against these measures.
  • Ensure risk reporting drives meaningful discussion, escalation, and proactive management of key risk and compliance issues.

Risk Culture & Capability

  • Drive a risk-aware culture through targeted training, awareness programs, and expert guidance on compliance and risk-taking decisions.
  • Embed risk considerations into strategic planning, project delivery, and change initiatives across the business.

Corporate Insurance Program

  • Responsible for working with the Group's Insurance Broker to structure insurance cover, General lines and Corporate lines.
  • Work with the Broker to present the proposed annual renewal schedule of coverage and ensure adequate coverage based on the level of residual risk.
