The Role - Operations Coordinator

We are looking for a passionate and energetic Operations Coordinator to join the ENV team in our Ballina office. This full time role will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to utilise their administrative expertise to ensure the smooth operation of our business and it's facilities and to support the delivery of a range of environmental projects.

You will be an integral part of driving a culture of continuous improvement, helping to implement 'working smarter' initiatives within our business.

The Operations Coordinator role will entail the following key areas of responsibilty, but we also have scope to tailor the role around the particular administration skills and expertise of the successful candidate.

Office Administration:

• Ensure the smooth running of our offices and facilities.
• Reception duties including answering the phone and directing client enquiries to the appropriate team (phone and email).
• Maintain our vehicle fleet.
• Provide basic user IT support and purchasing new IT and telecommunication assets as required.
• Manage office and field consumables inventory and foster good relationships with our suppliers.
• Organise training, travel and accommodation for staff.
• Work with the Operations team to ensure consistency of support across all ENV offices.
• Based on your skillset and interest, assist with the ancillary roles such as marketing, WHS, IT and accounts.

Projects Support:

• Provide ad-hoc administration support to our consultant team and our clients.
• Become a champion of our project management software program including routine maintenance of system data.
• Project invoicing.

Accounts Administration:

• Data entry of expenses, coordinate the approval for accounts payable, assist with debtor management.

Our Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in an administration or operational role.
• An adept multi-tasker who has the ability to understand what's important and prioritise their own work accordingly.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Self-motivated and self-disciplined.
• Can work as part of a large team as well as autonomously.
• Willingness to learn and adapt across a wide range of tasks.
• Knowledge of software packages such as MS Office, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, Xero and Total Synergy.
• Has the capacity for occasional travel between ENV offices, as required.
• Current Driver's License (manual license is favourable).

Valuable Skills

Although not essential, the following would be beneficial in your role with ENV:

• Previous experience in a consulting business.
• Proven competencies with office/business administration.
• Skills in any of the following speciality areas: bookkeeping, IT, work health & safety, quality systems, marketing/social media.
