Quantum Comms is a well-established company specialising in Rigging, Civils, Comms, EWP and plant hire with a long history of delivering complex projects in the Telecommunication and Transmission Line/Renewable Energy Sectors. Currently Head Office based in Victoria Quantum Comms service Clients Australia wide. We have a highly skilled team with over 140 staff members.

About the Job

Due to expansion in our industry, we are seeking experienced EWP Operators to join our FIFO crews across Australia.

  • Permanent, PART-TIME

  • 3 weeks on, 1 week off depending on project subject to change

  • Ample overtime available

  • Working across different projects across Australia.

  • Return travel for interstate employees

  • Working along side our major clients within the power and communication sectors.

About You

  • 1-2 years of experience working in the civil construction industry, driving a HR and EWP

  • Physically fit and able to climb and lift

  • Be able to work outdoors (rain, hail or shine)

  • Able to take direction and follow WHS

  • Great problem solving skills

  • Great communication and organisational skills

  • An understanding of quality, safety and environmental systems and principals

  • Appropriately skilled with MS applications including excel and word

Qualifications/Tickets/Licenses

  • Minimum of HR license (required)

  • White Card (required)

  • Current High Risk Work License WP > 11m (required)

  • Current Work Safely at heights (required)

  • Current EWP Rescue Descent (desirable)

Successful candidates are required to provide a police clearance and must obtain a First aid/CPR certificate.

A clean driving record is highly valued, however candidates with no major convictions are welcome to apply.
