About the role

Join Boodjera Group, as a full-time Painter in Geraldton, WA 6530. As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint and other coatings to a variety of surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets our client's needs. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a growing construction company.

What you'll be doing

  1. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming before applying paint
  2. Mix and apply paints, varnishes, and other coatings to both interior and exterior surfaces
  3. Use a variety of painting techniques, including brushing, rolling, and spraying
  4. Ensure work is completed to a high standard, meeting all safety and quality requirements
  5. Collaborate with the construction team to coordinate painting activities
  6. Maintain a clean and organised work environment
  7. Accurately record and report on work completed

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience as a Painter, preferably in the construction industry
  2. Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment
  3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  5. Good time management and organisational skills
  6. Ability to follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE)
  7. Flexibility to work on a range of projects and adapt to changing priorities
