YOUR OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for licenced plumbers / drainers keen to join our successful team based in Eagle Farm keeping water flowing to and from our customers' properties in Metro-North.
Our teams provide quality, reliable drinking water to our customers and collect and transport wastewater from their properties. In this role, you'll work in a team that contributes to the repair, reliability and operation of Queensland Urban Utilities' assets ensuring customers' expectations are met or exceeded.
The role requires that you be available to work shifts between 6 am and midnight and work 2 weekends in 10 (shift penalties apply). This roster has set, recurrent rostered days off with regular overtime opportunities. In return, we'll train you in all aspects of the role so that you have real variety and career progression.

WHAT WE HOPE YOU'LL BRING
We are seeking candidates who are passionate about shaping our future and, ideally, have the following qualifications, skills and experiences:
- Being a licenced Plumber / Drainer is necessary
- Experience in a similar industry - Civil Construction/Maintenance, Plumbing, Water, Utilities
- Strong focus and commitment towards safety
- MR or HR driver's licence is mandatory - or willing to obtain prior to employment
- Experience operating plant machinery is highly desirable
- A great communicator with the ability to work efficiently in a team
- A strong work ethic, with great attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Please note that you must be physically fit and pass a pre-employment medical before starting with us in this role.
