We're looking for a talented Chef de Partie — ideally with a passion for pastry — to join our kitchen at The Fox Hole, a boutique bar and dining space in The Rocks, just minutes from Circular Quay and easily reached by train, ferry, light rail, or bus.

About Us

The Fox Hole is home to 100+ gins, 30 whiskies, 20 wines by the glass and a seasonal cocktail list, paired with fresh, modern food designed for sharing, pairing, and savouring.

We've recently moved into a custom-built venue and we're growing our kitchen team as we create the next chapter in our story.

The Role

Reporting to our Head Chef, you'll be hands-on in the kitchen — from Gin High Tea afternoons to seasonal dinners and guided spirit tastings.

We're especially keen to find someone with a love for pastry, who can bring creativity and flair to our plated desserts while excelling across the savoury menu.

What You'll Do

  • Prep and cook high-quality dishes on time, every time
  • Deliver smooth service during busy shifts
  • In conjunction with the Head Chef, develop and plate desserts and pastries with creativity and precision
  • Receive and store stock correctly
  • Communicate allergen and menu details to the bar team
  • Support and guide junior kitchen staff
  • Keep the kitchen clean, safe, and organised
