Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Commercial Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our motel facilities. The role involves cleaning guest rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas to ensure a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Vacuuming carpets, curtains, and upholstered furniture in guest rooms and communal areas.
Cleaning, dusting, and polishing furniture, fixtures, and fittings.
Removing rubbish and recyclable materials, emptying bins, and replacing liners.
Cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms and laundry facilities, replenishing supplies, and reporting defective plumbing fixtures.
Stripping, waxing, and polishing floors as required.
Operating industrial cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor polishers.
Cleaning walls, ceilings, and fittings to maintain a hygienic environment.
Ensuring all cleaning chemicals and equipment are used safely and stored appropriately.
Reporting any maintenance or safety issues to management.
Skills and Requirements:
Previous experience in hotel, motel, or commercial cleaning roles preferred.
Knowledge of safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Good communication and time-management skills.
