We are seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our QLD Service Team. The successful candidate will be based in the Brisbane area.

As a Service Technician, you'll be the trusted expert ensuring essential medical equipment is safe, reliable, and ready to support those who need it most. Working across aged care and hospital environments, you will use your hands-on technical skills to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain both Arjo and third party devices. Your proactive mindset and can-do attitude will directly improve the quality of life for patients and caregivers — empowering movement and making a real difference every day.

We are looking for a person to: 

•    Carry out maintenance, repairs and testing of Arjo's range of products (medical equipment) as well as a range of related third-party equipment

•    Conduct routine scheduled servicing; (Preventative) and breakdown support (Reactive)

•    Promoting Arjo services and Service contracts to customers in regional QLD;

•    Provide technical solutions in a professional manner and to agreed time frames;

•    Provide accurate and compliant reporting on equipment serviced and repaired in Arjo's service ERP system; 

•    Maintain and report spare parts stock accurately in Arjo's service ERP system;

•    Maintain the safety and integrity of all serviced products in accordance with Company Policy;

•    The Service Technician role may require occasional regional travel to meet the needs of our large and growing customer base. This role will serve mainly Brisbane areas. 

Skills and Experience:

•    Mechanical and/or Electronics background and aptitude;

• years' relevant field service experience, preferably within the Healthcare or a service related sector;

•    Proven problem solving ability and troubleshooting skills ;

•    Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service;

•    Strong time management and planning skills with an ability to meet company performance targets/KPIs;

•    A passion for delivering excellent customer service, be well presented, confident and exhibit sensitivity interacting with staff and clients in a range of healthcare environments;

•    The ability to understand the customer's needs and provide appropriate solutions for mutual benefit;

•    Demonstrated ability to operate small hand tools, soldering, power tools and test/inspection equipment;

•    Computer literacy. iPad use familiarity will be advantageous;

•    The ability to work without direct supervision yet within a team environment;

•    A current QLD driver's licence (Class C) is essential;

•    Due to the role working in hospitals and aged care facilities, you are encouraged to have been vaccinated against COVID-19 and have a current influenza vaccination.
