The role

We're looking for a passionate Sommelier / Wine Waiter to join our vibrant front-of-house team. This is a hands-on floor role for someone who loves sharing their knowledge, driving sales, and creating memorable guest experiences.

You will:

  • Take ownership of our curated wine list of up to 120 wines, maintaining balance, quality, and variety
  • Deliver exceptional service and wine experiences across all sections of the restaurant
  • Actively engage with guests to recommend and upsell wines by the glass and bottle
  • Manage ordering, stock control, and monthly inventory
  • Contribute to staff wine training and tastings, sharing your knowledge with the broader team

What you'll bring

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a quality restaurant or wine-focused venue
  • A passion for wine, hospitality, and sales — you thrive on creating memorable dining experiences
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to connect with guests
  • WSET Level 2 (or equivalent) preferred, but we're happy to provide WSET Level 2 and 3 for the right person
  • A proactive attitude and a desire to grow within a professional, supportive team
