About the Role

We are seeking motivated and reliable Machine Operators to join our brand-new Wingfield facility on a permanent full-time basis. This role will be responsible for operating our new lathe machines within the pipe manufacturing operations.

The role will suit individuals who enjoy working as part of a team, have strong attention to detail, and are committed to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate lathe/CNC machines and associated cutting and threading equipment to support pipe manufacturing operations.
  • Follow established production schedules, ensuring output meets quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Conduct routine checks to ensure machines are running efficiently and safely.
  • Work collaboratively within the production team to achieve operational targets and KPIs.
  • Maintain a safe and compliant workplace by following all AVK safety policies and procedures.
  • Accurately record production information and report any issues or equipment concerns promptly.

About You

  • Previous experience operating lathes, cutting, or threading machines is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment will be highly regarded.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and operate equipment safely and effectively.
  • Strong focus on quality, attention to detail, and producing consistent results.
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
