The Role

We're looking for an experienced individual or a well-established contractor business, ready to take ownership of our day-to-day financial operations, for 15-20 hours a week. This is a hands-on role where accuracy and organisation skills really matter, and where we'll genuinely value your expertise. Your input will play a key part in keeping things running smoothly and supporting the whole team.

What You'll Be Doing

Accounts Receivable & Payable: Preparing and sending invoices, following up payments, managing bills, and keeping supplier and client records tidy.

Payroll & Staff Support: Running payroll, setting up new employees, managing leave, and looking after staff reimbursements.

Tax & Compliance: Preparing and lodging BAS and PAYG, keeping on top of payroll and super obligations, and supporting our external accountants. Ensure compliance with superannuation and payroll obligations.

Banking & Reconciliation: Processing payments, reconciling bank transactions, and ensuring records are accurate.

General Finance Support: Keeping everything organised, up-to-date, and supporting the team with financial queries and reporting.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years in a finance or bookkeeping role
  • Strong Xero experience
  • Solid understanding of accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and BAS
  • Knowledge of Australian payroll regulations
  • A sharp eye for detail, with excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Someone who enjoys working independently but also values being part of a small team
  • Availability to work at least 1 day per week in our Northern Beaches office.
