The Role

We're seeking an Informix Database Administrator to manage and optimise Informix databases supporting critical registry systems. This Sydney-based role is ideal for a DBA with experience in secure, compliance-driven environments.

You'll be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and security of Informix databases in a mission-critical setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain Informix databases.
  • Perform tuning, backup, recovery, and security hardening.
  • Monitor database performance and proactively resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams.

What You'll Need

  • Proven experience as an Informix DBA in enterprise environments.
  • Strong skills in database tuning, backup/recovery, and security.
  • Familiarity with scripting and automation.
  • Australian Citizenship with Baseline clearance.
