- Base salary from $65,972.96 to $78,675.40 p.a. plus 12% superannuation
- Additional allowances of up to $7,052.00 per annum
- 38 hours per week with a fortnightly rostered day off (RDO)
- Based at the Alexandria Depot with free onsite parking

About the role
We are seeking a highly dedicated and qualified multi-skilled Plumber to perform general installation, maintenance and other repairs as directed to maintain Council's assets at a standard which is consistent with the relevant specifications.
You will maintain Council buildings and community facilities to ensure the community have functional and safe facilities. Additionally, you will provide daily on-the-job supervision, training, mentorship, and assessment for a Council plumbing apprentice, ensuring their successful progression through a government-supported apprenticeship program
Your extensive experience, can-do attitude along with your commitment to work as part of a team will ensure your success in this role.

- Proven ability to supervise, mentor, and train apprentices or junior staff, fostering a positive learning environment
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with patience and ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Experience in a supervisory or mentoring role within a trades environment
- Formal qualification in training and assessment (e.g., TAE certificate) or willingness to obtain
- Plumbing License has been held for more than 5
- Experience in Local
- Experience with water boiler units particularly Billi and Zip brands, with a strong understanding of replacing filters and programming.
- Current First Aid
