Remuneration: $ $39.75 per hour

Hours Per Week: 38 (Job Share may be considered for part time hours)

What you'll be doing

Join our pharmacy team at Westmead Hospital and deliver safe, precise, patient-focused pharmaceutical services across multiple settings.

• Dispense and prepare medications with accuracy and care
• Support inpatient, outpatient, and community services
• Prepare sterile and non-sterile products per master formulations
• Supervise students and contribute to quality programs
• Grow professionally through training and performance development

Essential Criteria:

• Qualification:
  
  Pharmacy Technician Grade 1 –Certificate III in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support,
  
  Pharmacy Technician Grade 2 - Certificate IV in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support.

Selection Criteria:

• Demonstrated good communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated satisfactory pharmacy dispensing experience in Australia (or equivalent).
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise large workload and have good time management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Willing and able to perform all aspects of sterile (including cytotoxic) manufacturing.
• Must be willing and able to work late shifts and overtime on weekends as required.
