Role Description

This role is for a qualified admitted lawyer, law student or paralegal. We have 2 positions open in the Civil Litigation/Debt Recovery team.

This is a full-time on-site role located in Burwood, NSW. The Debt Recovery and Civil Litigation role involves handling day-to-day tasks essential for managing and resolving debt recovery cases and conducting civil litigation. Responsibilities include drafting legal documents, managing case files, liaising with clients, providing legal advice, and representing clients in court proceedings. The role requires collaboration with other legal professionals and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Strong Interpersonal Skills and effective Communication abilities
  • Experience and knowledge in Addiction Recovery and Insurance
  • Ability to conduct Training and provide guidance
  • Relevant qualifications in law or related fields
  • Experience in debt recovery and civil litigation is a plus
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • able to work in a team and be willing to be mentored
