About Boroondara.

At the City of Boroondara, we care for Melbourne's finest heritage gardens and open spaces – from grand, formal landscapes that attract visitors from across the state to carefully designed streetscapes that make our neighbourhoods thrive. Our Parks & Gardens team is recognised for delivering exceptional results, and we're looking for an experienced horticultural professional to join this high-performing crew.

You'll be supported by a team that values skill, initiative, and collaboration, and you'll enjoy the satisfaction of working on some of the most prestigious gardens in the country.

About the role

  • Deliver high-level horticultural care in formal and heritage gardens
  • Apply creative, low-maintenance solutions to enhance streetscapes
  • Make informed plant selection decisions suited to our climate and community needs
  • Operate and maintain modern irrigation systems
  • Contribute to cross-departmental projects that make Boroondara greener and more beautiful
