As a BIM Designer | Fire Protection, you will:

  • Collaborate with Fire Protection engineers to produce detailed and coordinated BIM models and drawings across all project phases.
  • Model fire protection systems such as sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, pumps, and detection systems using Revit and other BIM tools.
  • Support the delivery of compliant, constructible, and high-quality documentation in line with Australian codes and standards.
  • Contribute to digital coordination and clash detection processes, working closely with other services disciplines.
  • Maintain and apply BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), and ensure all models meet internal and client-specific standards.
  • Participate in design coordination meetings and support continuous improvement in BIM delivery across the team.

What you'll bring:

  • Experience
    : 2-3+ years of experience in BIM modelling for building services, preferably with a focus on Fire Protection systems.
  • Technical skills
    : Solid Revit proficiency is essential; experience with Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM360 is a bonus.
  • Industry knowledge
    : Understanding of the National Construction Code (NCC), AS 2419, AS 2118, and other fire system design standards.
  • Detail-oriented mindset
    : A commitment to model accuracy, documentation quality, and design integrity.
  • Team player
    : Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work seamlessly with engineers, designers, and external consultants.
