About the Role

As our new Structural Technologist, you'll be at the heart of planning, designing, and maintaining the state's most critical road infrastructure. You'll use your expertise in 2D and 3D modelling (Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, BIM, 12D) to produce high-quality digital engineering outputs for bridges and other structures. Your work will directly support safer, more sustainable, and more connected communities across Queensland.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain accurate 2D drawings and 3D models for major infrastructure projects.

• Ensure all outputs meet TMR standards, specifications, and codes.

• Use design automation and computational tools to drive efficiency and innovation.

• Support continuous improvement and contribute to a culture of technical excellence.

What We're Looking For

• To be eligible you must either hold a 3-year Sydney Accord Bachelor degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, BIM 360, and 12D.

• Familiarity with the BIM for Transport and Main Roads guideline, TMR Drafting Manual, and ISO 19650.

• A keen eye for detail and a drive for quality.

• A collaborative, innovative mindset and a passion for learning.

Why TMR?

• Be part of a diverse, inclusive team of experts who value your ideas and support your growth.

• Work on projects that matter while shaping the future of Queensland's transport network.

• Enjoy a supportive workplace that values work-life balance, professional development, and continuous improvement.

• We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and are committed to creating a workplace where everyone can thrive.

Ready to take the next step?

If you're looking for a role where your technical skills and ideas will make a difference, we'd love to hear from you. Apply now and help us build a better, more connected Queensland.
