About the role
- Oversee the planning, design, and execution of underground mining projects, including tunnels, shafts, and ventilation systems.
- Utilise SAP for project management tasks and Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including geologists, safety officers, and operations teams.
- Proactively identify and address project risks and challenges to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in all project activities.
- Provide regular progress updates and reports to stakeholders and senior management.
About you
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- 1-2 years of underground mining experience.
- Experience using SAP for project management and Power BI for reporting and analysis.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- A WA Shift Boss ticket (highly desirable).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a focus on safety and compliance.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and troubleshooting.
