We are seeking suitable applications for a highly capable and values-driven Clinical Nurses to join our dynamic Public Health Team at the Anita Clayton Centre.

This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time / Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time / Part Time and Casual appointments. Fixed Term and Casual appointments will be made with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 31 December 2026.

What are our Clinical Nurse roles?
WA Tuberculosis Control Program (WATBCP)
This role in collaboration with the Senior Registered Nurses workforce supports and delivers nursing care that supports and ensures compliance for patients undergoing treatment for active tuberculosis, latent tuberculosis or leprosy. This role provides public health surveillance of individuals at risk of tuberculosis or leprosy. This role provides health promotion and education to clients, the general public and other health care providers on tuberculosis management.

Humanitarian Entrant Health Service (HEHS)
In this role, you will be responsible for the assessment of the health status of humanitarian entrants (refugees) referred to the Humanitarian Entrant Health Service (HEHS) to detect communicable diseases and any potential health issues. This role plans appropriate health care in liaison with other health professionals, liaises with Primary Health Care to ensure ongoing health needs of the clients are met and provides health education to clients and other health services on refugee health issues.

Boorloo (Perth) Public Health Unit (Boorloo PHU)
This position, in collaboration with the Senior Registered Nurses (SRN) workforce, supports the provision of public health disease control programs in the Perth metropolitan region, including sexual health and immunisation programs; ensures optimal case follow up, contact tracing and outbreak investigation including liaison with relevant health agencies; participates in the planning, implementation and evaluation of communicable disease and immunisation programs.
