Barista

Oasis is a Melbourne institution: a family-run business known for incredible food, great coffee, and warm hospitality. Our Murrumbeena flagship is busier than ever, and we're looking for an experienced Barista to join our front-of-house team.

About the Role:

We're searching for someone who loves coffee, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and brings positive energy to every shift. You'll be working on a high-volume machine with a team that prides itself on consistency, quality and great customer service.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Preparing excellent espresso and milk-based coffees at speed
• Maintaining clean coffee stations, grinders, and equipment
• Providing warm, friendly, proactive customer service
• Working closely with FOH team members to keep service flowing
• Following Oasis standards for consistency, quality and presentation

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 1–2 years barista experience in a busy café
• Strong grinder knowledge and ability to dial in confidently
• Ability to handle high volume while keeping quality high
• Great communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• A passion for great coffee and genuine hospitality
