The Role

at Hotel Group is currently seeking an energetic, customer focused and experienced Maintenance Handyperson. Working closely with the Guest Services Managers, housekeeping and reception teams you will be responsible to ensure well maintained rooms and public areas. The ability to work on weekends is a must, local resident highly regarded.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day general maintenance duties within the hotel rooms and public areas
• Respond promptly to maintenance issues and emergency calls
• Maintain all tools, equipment, and working areas in proper condition
• Ensuring our high quality standards are maintained
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service when engaging with Guests
• Basic gardening duties

The successful candidate will have:

• An eye for detail
• Previous maintenance experience, preferably in a hotel
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills
• Positive attitude
• Ability to work without close supervision and within established timeframes
• Strong work ethic
