About the role

Playhouse Learning Centre is seeking a dedicated and passionate Diploma Role Educator to join our team in North Manly, NSW. This is a full-time opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young children within our vibrant early learning environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years
  • Implementing engaging and age-appropriate learning programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Observing and documenting children's progress, interests and development
  • Building strong relationships with children and their families
  • Maintaining a safe, clean and inclusive learning space
  • Collaborating with the wider Playhouse Learning Centre team
  • Child safe practices

What we're looking for

  • Relevant Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience working with children in an early learning environment
  • Minimum 1 year of long day care experience required
  • Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate learning activities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for supporting the growth and development of young children
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification, and valid Working with Children Check
  • Current Australian work rights required
