The Opportunity

Little Scribblers ELC's, a leading early learning centre in Peakhurst NSW, is seeking a passionate and experienced Educator (Diploma Qualified) to join our dynamic team. As an Educator, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational journeys of our young learners, fostering their growth, curiosity, and development in a nurturing and stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Observe and monitor children's progress, identifying and supporting their individual learning needs
  • Establish positive relationships with children, families, and the broader community
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organised learning environment
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the centre's policies, procedures, and practices
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

What We're Looking For

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role within the early childhood education sector
  • Strong understanding of child development, learning theories, and curriculum planning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children and families
  • Commitment to upholding high standards of care and education
  • Passion for creating engaging and nurturing learning environments
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and quality standards
