With support from management, this exciting opportunity calls for an experienced warehouse operator to store, pick, pack and dispatch goods for our 3PL partner. Suited for candidates looking to take a step back from high pressure environments with flexible working arrangements. Semi-retirees welcome to apply

Work Realities:

· Receive orders from 3PL partners

· Pick, pack and prepare dispatch of goods to customers

· Organising 3rd party freight collections with carriers

· Organising wholesale bulk deliveries (ie. palletised) with in-house truck as required

· Responsible for meeting turnaround requirements

· Commercially identifying best available option to consolidate costs for 3PL tasks

· Coordinate containers incoming, unloading and returning

· Receive goods into IT systems and basic data record entry for stock management

· Generating, conducting and posting stock takes as required

· Replenishment of stock in warehouse and cycling on a first in first out basis

· Picking and checking accuracy of minimum 98%

· Accurate recording of ancillary information (ie. expiry dates)

· Accurate record keeping of inventory and submitting to management

· Communicating and solution focused resolutions to 3PL vendor requests

· Working and collaborating with interstate branches to ensure accuracy interstate

· Support 3PL vendors with report writing as required for various business tasks

· Safe and effective use of forklift in a shared space (outside and in the warehouse)

· Meeting all safety training and OHS standards for using a forklift in a shared space

· Assist general warehouse manager with any additional duties they require

· Correct interchange of paperwork with HO to ensure timely processing of orders

· Must be in Hi-Vis clothing (provided) at all times

· Must always wear enclosed footwear suitable for warehouse work

· Representing the best interests of the company to our customers

· Responsible for the Cleanliness of the warehouse, office, kitchen, toilet areas

· Assist with cleaning of company vehicle both inside and out when require

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 38 per week
