The Package: $1, $1,401.90 gross per week + 12% super. (Evaluated as Grade 6 of the QPRC Salary System 2025), plus potential performance-based progression.

Full-time – 38 hours per week. 9-day fortnight conditions will apply.

Looking to sow your seeds, and bloom with potential with QPRC as a qualified Horticulturist? Council is looking for Gardeners to join the Urban Landscapes team, allowing you the opportunity to enhance your skills and contribute to our vibrant local community.

In this role you will:

· Contribute to the look and atmosphere of our award-winning parks and gardens, providing the community with spaces to appreciate and enjoy.

· Maintain irrigation systems, undertake weed control and litter disposal.

· Manage gardens, turf and relating plantings in the city's parks and gardens area.

· Ensure the safety and amenity of the community and environment is maintained.

We are looking for someone who:

· Has a Cert III in Horticulture (or equivalent) and experience in a similar role.

· Possesses a NSW General Construction Induction Card and a current Class C Drivers Licence.

· Constructively contributes to organisational and team outcomes.

· Demonstrates commitment to safe work practices and has a practical understanding of safety issues relating to horticultural operations
