About the Opportunity
- This is a key role in delivering high-quality waste collection services that make a difference in our community.
- Lead and support our hard-working waste collection team to ensure efficient and safe operations.
- Help plan better routes and improve bin maintenance services.
- Work with new technology to make the job easier and more efficient.
- Make sure trucks, equipment and team members are all in top shape.
- Train and develop your team to keep things running at their best.
About You
- You've got experience leading a team in waste management or a similar hands-on job.
- You're great at organising people, managing time and getting the job done so things run smoothly.
- Customer service is second nature to you—you know how to deal with people and solve problems.
- You're comfortable using computers and scheduling systems.
- You know your way around heavy vehicles and have demonstrated experience operating them.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:
Essential
- Substantial relevant experience managing an operational team in waste management service delivery.
- Effective time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload to achieve specific objectives.
- High-level customer service and effective communication skills.
- Experience in electronic scheduling and fleet management systems or other relevant experience.
- Sound computing knowledge and skills in Word and spreadsheet programmes, preferably MS suite and Adobe suite.
- Current HR driver's licence with experience operating heavy vehicles and articulated plant.
