The Role

Reporting directly to the GM, this position will play a pivotal role in delivering commercial insights that drive business performance. Acting as a true strategic partner, you will work closely with senior leaders whilst running the Finance function.

Responsibilities;

  • Manage the finance team
  • Assess and review capital expenditure initiatives related to new and existing products, providing financial insight and strategic recommendations for Board-level decision making.
  • Overseeing all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Providing analysis and insights to support business performance and growth opportunities
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax, and regulatory obligations
  • Managing cashflow, balance sheet, and working capital requirements
  • Leading and mentoring a small finance team to deliver operational excellence
  • Partnering with senior leadership on strategy, projects, and business planning
  • Operational analysis & efficiency opportunities: Identify areas for operational improvement through data-driven analysis, driving greater efficiency and cost-effectiveness across business units.
  • Compliance & Controls: ensure strong internal controls and execution of audit activities.

Your Skills & Experience

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business; CPA or CA accreditation preferred.
  • Experience in construction or industrial environments is highly advantageous.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to see the big picture while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in financial planning and modelling, including advanced Excel and Power BI skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to collaborate effectively across operations up to board level.
