About the role:

The project will deploy a cloud-based modern desktop and productivity platform with full functionality available to all users, incorporating a new hybrid cloud environment with current productivity applications and up-to-date security, control, and domain management features.

Key Responsibilities:

The role will work within a government digital delivery team as a representative to carry out test assurance and execution in support of a pilot project. The position will be responsible for a range of testing activities across all phases of the project testing lifecycle, with a strong focus on the following:

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts aligned with project requirements and technical specifications.
  • Conduct functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) across desktop, mobile, and cloud environments.
  • Identify, document, and manage defects using appropriate tools and collaborate with development and support teams to resolve issues.

Required Skills:

  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
  • Familiarity with automation tools and scripting.
  • Clear understanding of cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, Azure) and modern device management.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with the implementation of a Cloud-Managed Windows 11 Standard Operating Environment (SOE).
  • Deployment of Windows 11 SOE to a large user base
  • Exposure to Microsoft Intune (MDM) for managing devices.
  • Deployment of Microsoft Outlook and other core Microsoft 365 productivity applications to iOS and Windows 11 endpoints.
  • Migration of users from Exchange On-Premises to Exchange Online.
  • Transition of users to OneDrive, including treatment and migration of legacy H: Drives.
