We are seeking an enthusiastic Management Accountant to join our motivated and results driven finance team in Perth. Reporting to the General Manager, the role will provide reporting to key stakeholders, a broad range of management and financial accounting, financial modelling and general commercial support to the business.

About the Role

  • Oversee the preparation of financial reports, including attending to the month-end close process.
  • Analyse financial data to monitor costs, identify variances, and recommend strategies to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Ensure all financial records comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Attend to Balance Sheet reconciliations for the legal entity.
  • Participate in regular project and team meetings to improve understanding of the operations and business.

About You

  • CPA or CA qualified
  • Minimum 5 years' accounting experience with exposure to medium sized public companies.
  • Strong management accounting and financial modelling skills.
  • Experience utilizing SAP4hana software.
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally to further develop company stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience within surface mining operations is preferred.
