About the roles

Old Bar Little Learners' are seeking passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educators to join our team. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 6 weeks- six years in our Brand-New Centre located in Old Bar, NSW.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing and implementing, engaging and developmentally appropriate educational programs that foster children's physical, cognitive, social and emotional growth for children aged 6 weeks to six years.
  • Observing and documenting children's progress, and using this information to tailor learning experiences to individual needs
  • Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with children, families and the wider community
  • Ensuring a safe, clean and nurturing environment for all children in your care
  • Working collaboratively with other educators to share ideas and best practices
  • Upholding the Centre's policies, procedures and quality standards

What we're looking for

  • Relevant early childhood education qualification (e.g. Certificate III, Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education and Care)
  • Experience working in an early childhood education and care setting and prepared to work flexible hours from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children and families
  • Enthusiasm, creativity and a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of young children
  • Valid Working With Children Check
